Crysis: Prisms/Monuments

Google SketchUp: Prisms/Monuments

I've constructed 5 of the prism designs of monuments to know what they look like in 3D
and to choose the best ones to import to Crysis.
The two chosen ones I used to import to Crysis are the first two in colour.

Axonometric drawings: Monuments

2 ARCHITESTS

Dead: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969)

Alive: Rem Koolhaas(1944-)/OMA

Following the themes created during class from the above two architects' works,
I created 6 different prism designs.
I rendered them in different ways from harchted line, pattern to photoshop
to compare different rendering skills.

Creating balance with seemingly unbalanced forms

Simplicity is Complexity

Architecture is not the structure; it's the space the structure

Exterior shapes relate to interior space

The angles of the building relate to slope

Regular is irregular in terms of the use of tessellations
