Inspiration: "Art, Architecture, and Innovation: Celebrating the Guggenheim Museum"
This museum relates to my deisgn in terms of scheme, curves and materiality.
I was very inspired especially by the relationship of the curves on the exterior
and how this works for the interior space.
I would like to incorporate this idea of effective use of curve externally and
internally in my design as well in my development.
Model with application of texture
Texture used:
Textures used:
I think the textures worked successfully on some areas, where others didn't work so well.
I think the two most important things to think about now on when using texture is to
think about darkness and sizes of textures.
The reason for this is because from this experiment, I learnt that it doesn't work
so well when there are similar type of textures close to each other
because the design begins to look complex and difficult to read.

Google sketch up model draft 3 with stair designs
An architectural response in two words:
Co-ordination and Form
Materials: To keep the design simple and to focus on the form, limited range of materials are used. Materials such as concrete, glass, steel joints are mainly used.
Foreground:
Louise Bourgeois: Open-minded
Underground:
Stelarc: Limit
Stairs in google sketch up
The last three steps show how the stairs' length can be extended for artists to still be able to walk up the stairs when carrying large artworks.
Stairs
Stairs concepts
The stairs ablove allow extension for artists to be able to carry large artworks up and down.
This funtction is possible as the material holding the wooden block of the stair can be stretched but is heavy so it will still be stable and the smaller wooden block hidden inside the bigger wooden block can be taken out to extend the length of the stairs.
